As you know, I’m always shopping – sometimes for something specific and sometimes just because I happen upon something really cool, which was the case with my new vintage sunglasses.
Purchased at the Neon Bazaar from Electric Lemonade Shop, a vintage boutique in Las Vegas, these vintage sunglasses are unlike any pair I’ve seen anywhere. When something is striking and unique, I have to have it.
I inquired as to whether or not they were true vintage or replica, and the salesperson told me they were “dead stock.” Dead stock means vintage, but new, meaning they were were never sold or owned (used) by anyone. I love dead stock items. They’re old, but I’m the first to own them. Love it.
I’m guessing by the color scheme and angles that these sunnies are straight out of the 80s. I get compliments on them wherever I go. And not only are they so original in style, they were only $27. That is a vintage bargain in my book.
