Welp. It’s the end of an era. Beloved retro-modern, locally-owned Las Vegas vintage shop, Retro Vegas, is closing.
Owners, Bill Johnson and Marc Comstock, made the announcement on the store’s website and via their email newsletter. “After 14 successful years, we are retiring,” the pair states.
Retro Vegas has long been valued as the hottest spot for cool, retro furniture and home fashion. Red Kat vintage clothing boutique opening a spot inside the building just added to the overall experience.
I’ve done plenty of shopping inside the walls of this charming vintage spot. It was where I went when I required new pieces to kick off my new life as a single woman almost seven years ago.
Plus, I spend many weekends cruising Main Street in The Arts District. It’s hard to imagine walking those sidewalks without seeing their outstanding pink exterior.
To celebrate and clear out, the shop is launching their biggest sale ever. Save 50% on all furniture, art, lighting, records, etc.
Even the shop’s iconic pink kitchen is available for sale. Originally priced at $5000, it is now available at $2500.

The sale began on Wednesday (February 2, 2022) and continues through the end of the month (possibly into next month, if Retro Vegas still has remaining inventory).
In anticipation of relocating, Red Kat is hosting a 20% off sale. The vintage fashion boutique has not yet announced its new location.
