One of the hottest fashion and shopping events in Las Vegas has come and gone again. Couture for Causes happened April 28, 2013 at The Arts Factory and raised $29,000 for the nation’s leading dropout prevention program known as Communities in Schools of Nevada.
Providing a plethora of great fashion, with prices that ranged from $5 to $200, a silent auction, entertainment, food and adult beverages, Couture for Causes has yet again given the Las Vegas community another amazing shopportunity.
I nabbed two skirts, a blouse and a pair of pants for a total of $30, while my husband got a Moreno Martini Da Firenze shirt for only $5. Also spotted at Couture for Causes were $10 swimsuits from luxury hotel Wynn Las Vegas and a Vera Wang cocktail dress for $150. I have one friend who spent $150 and walked away with loads of designer wear, while another splurged $500, but I’m sure she saved thousands.

Couture for Causes is an annual April event set up flea market style, featuring on-trend and designer fashion donated by Las Vegas’ most enviable society members and designed to raise money for a charitable cause. Information channels seem to vary year by year, but just keep checking back with this fashion blog and I promise to keep you updated on next year’s event.
