Too Hot for T.V.? Project Runway’s Racy Billboard Gets Banned

ShareTweet

Do you think the image below is NSFW or too sexy for outdoor billboards? Apparently the folks in Los Angeles did, as this advertisement  for fashion’s favorite television show “Project Runway” was banned in L.A., but will run with underwear placed onto the models’ naked bodies.

I’m a huge “Project Runway” fan (remember when I interviewed Tim Gunn?) and very little shocks me – especially not the naked human form. So I find this ad beautiful, sexy and exciting. I can’t wait for “Project Runway” to launch its 12th season next Thursday, July 18 at 9:00 pm EDT.

And this season, you can interact as you watch. We all tend to congregate and talk on Twitter or GetGlue as we watch “Project Runway,” but now you can use your smartphone, tablet or computer to share your reactions to episode story lines and interact with other fans in real-time during each episode through the new interactive on-screen feature called PlayRunway.

A number of high-profile guest judges are set to join “Project Runway” for this next cycle, including actress Kate Bosworth, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and original “Project Runway” judge Michael Kors. Regular judges continue to be Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia and Zac Posen, and mentor Tim Gunn.

Ready for a twist? For the first time in “Project Runway” history, Gunn will be able to rescue one designer during the course of the season he feels deserves a second chance. That should be interesting!

Learn more about PlayRunway at www.playrunway.com. And don’t miss “Project Runway” on July 18 on Lifetime TV. Check your local listings.
