I don’t know too many people who would look at these pieces separately and think that they would work well together. But as you can see for yourself, they do. The reason why I knew my metallic shoes would go with my olive studded vest, which would be fine to wear with the tan belt, is because all the colors are muted. Had I worn glossy metallic shoes or a patent leather tan belt, it wouldn’t have worked. Even my bracelets are muted in tonality. So they all worked. This is the lesson in matching. You don’t need everything to match perfectly for it to work. In fact, it looks better when they don’t.
