According to the latest fashion news, “critics” are giving the Duchess of Cambridge (a.k.a. Kate Middleton) shit for wearing her nude pumps multiple of times with multiple outfits. Who are these people who have the audacity to criticize the world’s favorite fashionista? Little old ladies who still believe that you can’t wear white after Labor Day?
I think that Kate, as well as all of us, should ignore the critics. Nude pumps are hot and haute. They are the new black pump and a must-have for every wardrobe. Honestly, I don’t have a nude pump yet, because I’ve been holding out for the perfect pair. When I do purchase a nude pair of pump shoes, they must be from a high end label (think YSL), a total bargain (think under $200), and feel comfy (meaning I can wear them all day long). Those are very high standards, and so my search has been long. I believe that nude pumps are the new “investment piece,” and so I am seriously taking my time finding the pair I know I will keep forever.
When I do find my perfect pair of nude pumps, like Kate, I plan on wearing them over and over again. And if I happen upon a “critic” with a comment, what will I do? Take off a shoe and throw it at her. No, just kidding! But I will wear my pumps multiple times with pride and turn my nose at anyone who thinks his/her opinion matters to me. Cheers to the resourcefulness of the new classic: nude pumps!
I agree with you, nude pumps are perfect for so many outfits.
lovely nude pumps are good for short dresses.
