I’m inclined to blame this change of perspective on my age, but look at Style Crone. She and other women like her prove that nowadays you don’t have to be a millennial to be a fashion blogger.
But between an unexpected divorce (isn’t marriage supposed to last forever?), dating (Tinder, anyone?), and being middle aged (I plan to die at 90), I want to blog about more than my cute outfits. I have a lot to say about many, many other things. I don’t want to be limited to clothes, shoes, and handbags.
I don’t want to be a fashion blogger anymore.
I want to tell you about my new favorite sex toy. I want to share about other events happening in Las Vegas, besides the style-related ones. I want to offer you career, blogging, and writing advice. I want to discuss why I’m hell-bent on drinking three glasses of champagne a week and what I’m doing to keep my weight down.
I want to write about ALL things that affect women, such as birth control, aging parents, and being single over the age of 40.
I want to be a women’s lifestyle blogger.
Obviously, I want to continue to talk about shopping, because let’s face it, I am obsessed. But, I’m also obsessed with my new job, wine, and my purple hair! Can I blog about those things, too?
It’s my blog. Of course, I can. And, I will.
So moving forward, know that you will be seeing sex toy reviews on this blog (I used to write for a sex toy company, after all), women’s health tips, and I may even write a tutorial about how to find your G-spot. Plus, I love to eat, drink, and experience all that Vegas has to offer. So, there will be more of that, too.
I’m evolving. And as a result, Lollie Shopping will, too. I hope you stick around, because things are about to get very spicy, saucy, and sassy.
Think you can handle it?
Love it! You Go Lady!
xoxo Christie

Aw, thanks, Christie.
You know what’s funny? I’ve always thought of you as more than “just a fashion blogger”. I can’t wait to see the awesomeness that lies ahead.
Thanks, Desi! I appreciate that. It’ll be fun to add other topics to my repertoire.
I support this 200%. I too have never thought of you as just a fashion blogger. I’ve seen you do some incredible things over the years. You’re more of a “Can Do Anything” blogger with a focus on fashion.
I’m excited to see where this goes!
Thanks, Russ! I really appreciate it. I’m going to try to be exactly that.
