Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday. For one thing, I LOVE anything scary. Second, I love candy. Need I say more?
However, the older we get, the harder it is to celebrate this spooky day. Dressing up in costume can be a hassle. And it’s difficult to be taken seriously in the corporate boardroom or at a parent-teacher conference while dressed like Elvira. But still, you’ve got the celebratory spirit of a werewolf howling inside of you and you want to have a little fun. So what’s a ghoul to do?
There are some cute Halloween apparel and accessories out there that allow you to show your love for the holiday, without looking like a complete dork. I scoured the Internet for some acceptable options. You’ve got plenty of time to place your orders, so get to shopping now. Look festive for the holiday, while avoiding the daunting effort of having to don a complete Halloween costume.
Important style note: just pick one piece from my Halloween picks below. You don’t want to wear all of this together, or you will look like you’re wearing a costume, and… like a dork.
This PJ shirt from TOPSHOP would look so cute with a pair of black trousers or a black pencil skirt.
Nail art is super stylish. These Halloween nail stickers are temporary – easy to apply and easy to remove.
These Iron Fist Zombie Stomper Heels are my FAVORITE thing to wear every Halloween. I like wearing them with a cute dress or skirt, but they’d also look great with waxed denim or leather leggings.
If the cat ear lace headband featured at top is too wild for your office, then these cat ear sunglasses are a great alternative.
Okay. Yes. These are simply Tory Burch logo earrings. From afar, they kind of resemble Jack-O-Lanterns, but they’re so stylish that you can wear them year-round, too!
