While I love a good floral print, the power of flowers comes in many forms, including floral water. Floral water can be used for a variety of purposes including aromatherapy and skincare. In fact, many believe that floral water has healing benefits. You can even use floral water for cooking!
I use floral water for aromatherapy purposes and as a cooling body mist during the summer. Keep your floral water in the refrigerator, and you’ll find it to be quite a refreshing rescue on a hot, sizzling day. I spray my face, behind my knees and especially the pulse points on my wrists. And the scent is so invigorating.
I also enjoy using the power of floral scented water to keep me calm or lighten my spirits. Rose, chamomile and lavender are my favorite. But I highly recommend the use of orange blossom floral water for those moments when you need a boost of energy or confidence. And because floral water is so light in scent, you can still layer your favorite perfume over it. Floral water won’t conflict with your signature designer fragrance.
So broaden your horizons and think about incorporating a little bit of nature into your lifestyle. Try it in small doses at first, but eventually you’ll find yourself a regular user of floral water.
