Who knew that a $5 ring would garner so many compliments?
Oversize in design and obsidian in appearance, this striking rose-shaped ring is one of my favorite things and makes an appearance in over half of my Outfits of the Week.
I got it a few years ago at H&M and when I happened upon it, the ring was the only one of its color among a bin of pink ones. Even though it’s made from plastic, it’s actually quite substantial in weight and construction. I’ve never seen another one like it, which is odd, considering that H&M tends to produce en masse.
But I’m glad to appear as though I’m the only one who has this ring, just like the the other favorite ring I blogged about. It’s a deliciously satisfying feeling.
However, you know I love to share. And if I could direct you somewhere to get your own black plastic rose ring, I would. Since I can’t do that, I’m sharing this tutorial for making a piece of plastic rose jewelry piece that I found on Pinterest. Maybe you can DIY one for yourself.
