“I like to mix the pretty with the gritty,” says Daniella Capitano, owner of American Vagabond, a very pretty fashion boutique set smack dab in the middle of gritty downtown Las Vegas. Already set to become the new style darling of Sin City, Capitano houses affordable fashion (not to be confused with fast fashion) that is forward in design and high in quality. Prices range from $40-$200.
American Vagabond isn’t mall fashion. It isn’t juvenile. And it isn’t ordinary. I’m talking about well-made apparel in designs and patterns that will make you stand out. Capitano (that’s her below) seems to have an affection for Australian-made and designed clothing, including the blouse she gave me for this Outfit of the Week post, which comes from the brand Cameo.
What I love about this top is that… there is SO much to love about it – the print, the tuxedo-like pleats, and the offbeat hemline. You’ll never find anything like this at the mall!
