5 Products Grown Women Need to Survive Summer

ShareTweet

With just a few days left, July is on track to become the Earth’s hottest month on record. Indoors with air conditioning, a grown woman is just fine. But once she exits her home to run a business, pick up the kids from school, complete some errands, or just grab a coffee to go, she’s overheated, uncomfortable, and in need of relief. There are just certain products that women need to survive summer, and I have five to recommend.

Summer’s Eve Vaginal Wash

Heat causes sweat. And sweat, even when you’ve showered that day, can cause embarrassing odors. Summer’s Eve Cleansing Wash can help you with that. It’s pH balanced, which means the product will do a better job than regular soap to help your vagina feel fresh all day. Plus, it’s gentle; so you don’t have to deal with irritation. For grown women on the go, consider also packing some Summer’s Eve Cleansing Cloths in your handbag just in case you need a quick touch-up in the middle of the day. Purchase Summer’s Eve products at Target. To see a full list of Summer’s Eve products, go to SummersEve.com.

Theraplex Barrier Balm

Heat also causes dry skin. The heels of my feet really take a beating during summertime. I use a pumice stone when I shower, then I slather on Theraplex Barrier Balm which keeps my feet from looking ashy, cracked, and gross. And it works great on my hands and cuticles, too. Use it daily and see some amazing results. Buy Theraplex products at Amazon.

Amika Dry Shampoo

I normally wash my hair only twice a week (limiting hair washing helps to mitigate thinning hair), but this summer, I’m seeing my roots oil up faster than usual. A spray of Amika Dry Shampoo perks up my do so I can be on my way. A tip, which I learned recently, is to apply dry shampoo at night before you sleep and let the product work overnight. In the morning, brush your hair out and style. You can find Amika Dry Shampoo in person or online at Sephora.

Pixi Rose Glow Mist

There isn’t a Pixi product that I don’t like, and the brand’s Rose Glow Mist is one that delivers the kind of results you want. Packed with flower oils, fatty acids, and antioxidants, a few spritzes will leave your face looking dewy and youthful, which is why it made this list of products women need to survive summer. Store yours in the refrigerator to treat yourself to a luxurious pick-me-up after spending some time in the heat. Give it a good shake before application. Buy Pixi products at Kohl’s.

Colorescience Sunforgettable

Sunscreen is imperative. You have to do all you can to protect yourself from skin cancer and, of course, wrinkles. I sometimes forget to apply sunscreen to my face before putting on my makeup, but Colorescience’s Sunforgettable is a brush-on, powder sunscreen that complements your foundation and protects your skin with SPF 50. You can put it on over your makeup and it still works. Get yours at Amazon. Learn more about Colorescience’s line of products at Colorescience.com.

Complimentary products were accepted, but my opinions were not affected.
