Isn’t it always the most fashionably fretful time of the year? Swimsuit shopping. We women are so hard on ourselves, making it difficult to select the right swimsuits for our warm-weather adventures.
But I have a couple of ideas to make it easy on you. First, set aside all your fears and trepidations. Strip bare nude. Look at yourself in the mirror in your full glory, and repeat after me: I love my body. I love my body. I am grateful for my body. Say it until you believe it.
And now, it’s time to go swimsuit shopping. Filling your heart and mind with self-love, it will be that much easier. To continue to make your swimsuits 2010 journey easy, I recommend The Orchid Boutique.
At TheOrchidBoutique.com, you’ll find swimsuits for women that range in sizes 0-14 and featuring various stylish designs and hot designers such as Betsey Johnson and Badgley Mischka. Styles include everything from itsy-bitsy bikinis to sophisticated one-pieces (my personal favorite) and everything in between. Shop by trend, designer or style. But I recommend shopping by style to simplify the process. You know what you like and what looks good on you, so shopping by style will allow you to weed out the swimwear you wouldn’t normally wear.
Need more help? Below, I’ve hand-picked a few favorites, indicating body type, age and personal style for each pick. The Orchid Boutique is all-together cute and inspiring. You’ll have so much fun shopping there. So, check it out, you sexy fashionista. Love your body. Love the warm weather. Love The Orchid Boutique.
Lollie Swimsuit Picks
I say if you got it, flaunt it! This is my Lollie pick for those of you under 30 (or who look under 30) and who fall within the small size range. The ruffles are on-trend and the color is super youthful. When I was 18 and a size 0, I wore a two-piece swimsuit just like this one!
If you’re a small size, but over 30 and have lost the elasticity in your midsection, here’s a sexy swimsuit that still shows off your figure. This particular choice is way exotic and super sizzling.
If you’re a C-cup or higher and fit, yet modest, I highly recommend halter style swim wear. This one by Betsey Johnson is just delish and so retro. It’s sexy without being slutty.
Lastly, if you’re like me, curvy, aging, and have a bit of jiggle in the middle, you’ll love the selection of one-piece swimsuits at The Orchid Boutique. Here are three of my favorites!
This Badgley Mischka Fuchsia Serpentine swimsuit disguises the midsection and attracts the eye up to your chest, neck and face. Plus, the color complements dark and light women, blondes and brunettes.
I love the aforementioned Betsey Johnson two-piece, but sadly it would not work with my body type. This Betsey Johnson Swim Layer Cake Tankini isn’t a one-piece, but when you pair the ruffled layer swim top with the ruffled skirty bottom, you get a one-piece look that mimics the stylish look of the above two piece.
The Despi Diamond One Piece is reminiscent of Hollywood Glamour, a look that is meant for the curvy woman. Wear with a big straw hat and giant black sunglasses. No autographs, please!
