See a Fashion Show and Do Something Good

Tickets are now on sale for Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s second annual Blue Party, taking place Friday, October 2nd under the stars in the courtyard of the World Market Center in downtown Las Vegas. Festivities include a runway fashion show created by local designers from clothes purchased at local Goodwill stores, live performances by David Perrico – Pop Strings Orchestra with special guest Frankie Scinta, and TAO Group Resident DJ Wendi Cakes.

Seven Las Vegas fashion designers will premiere one-of-a-kind-collections using re-imagined and re-purposed Goodwill merchandise during a live runway fashion show hosted by FOX5 News This Morning anchors Maria Silva and Dave Hall. Vegas/Rated and Vegas SEVEN’s Melinda Sheckells will serve as behind-the-scenes commentator and roving crowd reporter. The night will also include live painting, silent and live auctions, vendor booths and drinks.

All proceeds raised at Blue Party will benefit Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s mission of helping people in Southern Nevada find employment, no matter circumstance or disability. Participating designers are Mitch Adkinson, Martha Aispuro, Drennan Oscar Graham, Austin Mulvenon, Rheme Ragasa, Emily Stanley, and Sharon St. Laurent. Doors open at 5:00 pm with the fashion show commencing at 8:30. Standing/general admission tickets start at $35, and include one free drink ticket.
